Prowein

Prowein claims to be the trade fair number one for the wine and spirits sector. The fair, which is held annually in the German city of Düsseldorf in March, brings togetheraround 6,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and approximately 40,000 visitors from 145 countries. These are not insignificant figures considering that it is a three-day fair.

The Valencian Community regularly participates in this fair, supportingaround fifty Valencian producers in the sector.

It is worth remembering that the wine sector in the Valencian region is very important with exports exceeding 265 million euros a year. In addition, it has differentiated quality marks such as the DO Vino deValencia, the DO Utiel-Requena, the IGP Vinos de Castelló, the cava from Requena and the four vinos de Pago, without forgetting the specific denominations of the traditional spirits from Alicante.

Undoubtedly, a powerful showcase for the promotion abroad of the best wines of the Comunitat Valenciana.
