Biofach without the shadow of a doubt the international meeting place for the organic sector. It is the world’s leading trade fair for organic food and is held in conjunction with Vivaness, the International Trade Fair for Natural and Organic Personal Care.
The fair takes place in February in the German city of Nuremberg and is an unmissable event for networking, commercial exchange and the international positioning of companies dedicated to this sector.
The Conselleria of Agriculture has been supporting the organic sector for years, and regularly attends this German fair to support Valencian organic companies.
This sector is constantly growing and has tripled the number of operators in the last decade, reaching 4,636 in 2021. Not in vain, recently, the Valencia Region was a finalist in the awards for the best European organic region.
At Biofach, all the organic foodstuffs on display are certified according to the EU Organic Regulation or the accreditation directives of IFOAM, sponsor of BIOFACH.
