Alimentaria

Alimentaria Barcelona is one of the most important food and beverage trade fairs in Europe. Like other similar fairs such as Anuga and SIAL Paris, Alimentaria is held every two years and is a key event for companies in the sector.

In terms of participation figures, Alimentaria brings together 3,000 exhibitor companies, a third of which are international, from 57 different countries. Meanwhile, there are more than 100,000 visitors from 150 countries and 2,115 key buyers from Asia, the United States and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). In total, it is estimated that around 13,000 business meetings take place at each edition.

As for the participating sectors, we can find from large-scale distribution, food and beverage distributors, food and beverage wholesalers, retailers, e-commerce, food and beverage importers, catering, accommodation, food and beverage processors and transformers, and institutions and industry associations.

All in all, Alimentaria has become the unmissable meeting point for professionals in the food, beverage and food service industry, where Valencian companies have the opportunity to improve their internationalisation and expand their client portfolio.
